Fiona Page
Fiona Page has been a professional teller since 1983. The former Young Audiences, Inc. artist has recently come out of retirement to share tales of wit and wisdom. Fiona taught fourth and eighth grades for a total of 22 years before she became a storyteller and motivational speaker. References are available.

Pre-school to Second Grade:
- Fall Frolics: Fiona the Earth Queen tells “How the Earth Changes Colors” (Native American tale) and “How the Earth Was Made” (Creation story from the Hopi). YOU WILL LAUGH AND LEARN!
- Invite Snow Flake, the famed third Blind Mouse, to your classroom! Fiona appears in costume as Snow who says it pays to be courteous, respectful, and to learn a second language.
Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grades:
- Ask about the Queen of the Okefenokee Swamp: stories of survival in the wetlands of Georgia.
- How Do We Know: Fourth graders start to think about history and how we know. Fiona tells “Henry Hudson’s Ghost Ship,” “The Half Moon,” and stories of the Dutch settlement of New York and other explorers.
- Ask for Native American tales to teach by.
For All Elementary Students:
- Fiona, Ms Senior Georgia of 2004, tells stories of Fine Famous Females. Who have one thing in common. Can you guess what it is? Helen Keller, Martha Washington, Latise, Louis Braille’s mother, And Fiona’s own mother, the first female to walk on two artificial legs. These are stories of great courage and accomplishment - about overcoming obstacles.
- A Spoonful of Stories - Fiona as Mary Poppins carries a satchel full of Fiona’s Favorite Folktales.
- St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be complete without Hilda Hiccup telling about The Wee Folk in the magic underground. Wearing the green, Hilda shares how St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland and how Mr. Leprechaun helped Connor win the race. These stories are about appreciating one’s gifts and talents.
- Fiona the Funny Bunny Meets Bettina, the Bold Butterfly who can’t make friends. This is a transformation story about disabilities, bullies, and beauty on the inside! Dare To Be You—the best YOU to Be!
- May Day, May Day! Cautionary Tales and Campsite Capers. Fiona closes the season as the Earth Queen sharing safety tips and tall tales of trickster characters from Native American, African, and Mid-Eastern traditions.
