2016 Peach State Storytelling Festival

Internationally-known storyteller and humorist Bil Lepp is the headliner for the 2016 Peach State Storytelling Festival. The festival will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA), located at 1597 Interstate 85 Frontage Road, Atlanta, GA, 30329.
A five-time champion of the West Virginia Liars’ Contest, Bil’s outrageous tall tales and witty stories have earned the appreciation of listeners of all ages. A perennial favorite at the National Storytelling Festival, Bil is an award-winning author and recording artist, and has been featured at venues across the nation, including a recent appearance for Comedy Central. Lepp is the recipient of the Storytelling Circle of Excellence Award.
The festival kicks off on January 21st with Stories on the Edge of Night, an evening of adult-oriented stories presented by nine of Atlanta’s best reality storytellers.
On Friday, January 22nd, Jan Cribbs, Denise Mount, and Terri Ingalls will perform in the Regional Storytellers Showcase.
Saturday, January 23rd is filled with storytelling, workshops, and two shows by headliner Bil Lepp, including his big concert on Saturday evening. For the official festival schedule, click here.
