Do Tell! Stories Under the Bell Tower, April 5, 2014

From the Saturday morning family workshop through the evening performance, audiences and tellers share a special journey, awakening emotions through tall tales, legends, folklore, and original stories. Between sessions, engage in conversations and discover the joy of recollection, while telling one’s own stories.

Tell Me a Story, Family Workshop, 10-11:30 (FREE)
A workshop for grandparents, parents, and children to help us all learn about the art of storytelling and how to share our lives with each other. Workshop led by the KSU Teller sand grandmother/granddaughter team of Ester Culver and BreAnn Culver.

Lunch and Listen, 12:00-1:00 ($5)
A family friendly performance of delightful, funny and inspiring stories by the KSU Tellers, Ester Culver, Barbara McBride-Smith and Donald Davis.

Pen to Paper Workshop, 2:00 – 4:00 pm ($10)

Do Tell! Stories under the Bell Tower, 7:30 pm (Non-Member $30 / Student $10)
A can’t miss, side-splitting, thought-provoking grand finale performance with Tellers Ester Culver, Barbara McBride-Smith and Donald Davis. Donald Davis probably said it best: “if we become dedicated listeners to the stories of others, ….we get to live through experiences that lie outside the canon of our own experiences. It is a wonderful ride.”
