Bess Chappas, a Savannah storyteller, member of SOS, and writer, has been invited to speak at this event on St. Simons Island, September 27-29; it is an international, non-profit, literary arts organization committed to the support and advancement of all writers, published and non-published.
Bess has written two children’s books: Kiki and the Red Shoes and Kiki and the Statue of Liberty. Both are autobiographical stories of her early years in Greece, where she was born, and her trip with her family by ship, crossing the Atlantic to the U.S.
